Lagging behind the competition this financial services firm had been struggling to make up ground on their rivals which had resulted in constant missed targets and growth goals. Lacking a prominent position in the local Google Map listings and struggling to secure new reviews from clients meant they required a solution to increase visibility and find a way of making it easier to secure reviews from their clients.
After showing their team around our SEO platform they decided to assign one of their employees to spend a few hours a week following the SEO instructions laid out. Our onsite Optimsier meant carrying out the simple instructions could be done in half the time. They also decided to give some of their staff access to our SEO academy.
With just a few hours a week the their staff member was able to follow the easy Step by step SEO tasks to make impacting changes directly from our platform.
Along with this we implemented our in-house review platform and created automated review requests with follow ups to secure regular positive reviews.
After the recommended onpage changes to their website and Google Business Profile and their target keywords started to make progress with some moving on to page 1. For local search their Maps ranking position moved from 9 to 2 & 3 (depending on the keyword) which meant they started to appear in front of consumers searching for their service.
The automatic review requests increased the review volume and client reviews soared from 86 to 211 significantly increasing their trust and authority.
Both Enhanced Local Rankings and consistent positive reviews contributed to improved local search engine rankings and enquiries.

A Roofing company in Manchester, UK wasn’t receiving any calls from their online presence and were solely relying on paid advertising for leads which wasn’t providing a very good ROI. Once the project started we found the Google Business Profile was 20% incomplete and required further work. The other main issue was the business only had 4 reviews even though they had been trading for over 10 years. Upon speaking with the owner we also found out that it wasn’t uncommon for enquries to go unanswered if everyone was on site.
As always our team ran the data on the competition and the current Google Business profile. We then began to build out the rest of the profile and make edits on the current content. We also added Geo tagged photos and keyword rich images. In this instance citations also had to be created to ensure the continuity of the NAP (name , address and phone number).
We set up the roofers with our tap and review NFC cards to enable them to request reviews from customers after each job and also implemented follow up via text.
To combat the missed opportunities by not responding to web visitors we implemented our video engagement and AI chat bot to engage with potential customers and book appointments.
Completing and optimising the profile helped immediately and saw some initial movement in the MAP listings. Further work over the course of the campaign resulted in further increases in the Google Map listings. The tap and review cards were an immediate success and reviews started to build up helping to portray the business as a trusted service provider. Our review system also helped keep any 3-star or below reviews in-house.
Our video engagement pop up and AI chat bot helped deal with web visitors while the team was working on projects. The Ai was able to answer questions and book appointments as well as arrange call back requests.
The work we implemented helped the business move from page 2 in the Google Maps to the top 3 of page 1 and increase reviews from 4 to 57 with a 4.8.
The result has been a significant rise in enquiries and new roofing customers each month.
